Brown and Bigelow merge with San Diego real estate marketing firm
San Diego- Recently a national promotional products company took drastic steps to corner the local real estate market sector. On July 18th 2015, Brown & Bigelow merged Graphics Remarkable Real Estate Marketing, or GRR Marketing for short, with it’s San Diego office affiliates. This move coincides with the large corporation’s focus on current real estate market trends.
The implications of such a move could be formidable to local service providers as they struggle to compete with long standing supply chains and the working relationships of such an ancient corporation. Brown & Bigelow was established in 1896 and now hold 18 major offices throughout the US. They have close relationships with over 500 domestic and foreign promotional product manufacturers and are responsible for much of Corporate America’s promotional product materials.
Perhaps always a threat to the small business owner, Brown & Bigelow’s reach is formidable, but this new focused micro-attention seems rather unfair. Usually local service providers enjoy the benefits of long standing community ties that are strong enough to court business without the discounts the national companies can provide. Now that this company has merged with a local marketing firm who specializes in advertising, photography, and printing services they will be able to operate on the local level.
In the next couple of weeks look to GRR Marketing to incorporate frequently purchased promotional products into they online store and print promotions. It will be interesting to see how local service providers compete now that a national promotional product company has local community representation.
